Vintage Crescent Moon Prop

Made from quality 6mm MDF this moon measures 31cm wide x 40cm tall.

This moon design began as an 8ft beautifully hand painted prop and featured in our Christmas Selfieland 2023 (see the last pic). The moon was one of the most popular photo booths so we decided to create a (much!) smaller version to buy. To create the artwork we took an ultra high resolution photo of the original 8ft moon then converted it to a digital vector file, and with a few tweaks to the shape as it turned out it was a slightly squashed crescent, we were able to sell this beautiful prop.

The artwork style is a nod towards the 1920s and their love of the infamous moon booth photo. It makes for spectacular wedding photos, and peaceful and delicate new born baby photos.

The current size is designed for home decor use, that isn't to say you can't add it to you shop window display, it is just to say we can make and post the moon prop much bigger if you needed a bigger impact say for photos or a focal piece of a visual merchandising display.

The uses for this prop really are endless - perfect for all fairy tale themed events, celestial home décor or even add an eyelet screw (sold in a separate listing) and suspend above a children's reading area.
