Giant Snakes and Ladders

Wooden giant snakes and ladders measuring 55cm by 55cm. In house designed artwork printed directly on to high quality 6mm MDF and cut to shape.

It is the exact right size to fit on top of a Lack IKEA coffee table if you wanted to a game table. We have some other giant board games such as Ludo at this size too. You could make several gaming tables if you run a family orientated space like a library or for you home use velcro and just one table to swap the giant game boards over when you want to play different games.

Table, dice and playing counter NOT included. If you plan to use as a coffee table top as well as a game, be sure to add some good quality furniture varnish, preferably with resin in, so it is easy to wipe down.

It took quite some time to create the artwork for this game. We love vintage style games so we wanted to get the look just right. The colour pallet is muted vintage tones and the artwork is stylised block colours. The snakes are very unassuming as we didn't want to make them look too menacing. Around the gaming grid is a decorative border featuring green and orange triangles which mirror the snakes skin design.

A really lovely review for this giant snakes and ladders mentioned that is was a gift for the customers mum in her care home. We thought this was such a great idea as the game is supersized so it will be easier for visually impaired people to play.

Other uses include weddings and events to make more of a dedicated area for board games. The supersized games are much more visual and so they don't go unnoticed, where as a regular sized board might get lost in the bustle of an event. A classic game enjoyed by children and adults alike!
