Traditional Emporium Sign

75cm wide by 25cm tall. Made from 6mm quality MDF this sign is 2D, but the artwork using shading to give the feel of it being 3D. Also the gold guild is not metal but the artwork has been created in such a way it creates the illusion of gold lines behind the text and around the border. This sign is inspired by Victorian signwriting. The gold effect decal has been influenced by a cast iron Singer sewing machine, and the text has been inspired by a Victorian shop sign. A British racing green background, set in black and gold effect guild. The outside has been made to look like a thin and elegant dark wooden frame. I very much enjoyed creating this sign after visiting a Victorian museum. The sign is especially inspired by the medicinal shop signs. We have sized it as a large 75cm so it can be used in a shop display, perhaps if you sell vintage items. Or it's still small enough to be used as home decor perhaps behind a collection of lotions and potions, or on top of a cabinet displaying your finest brerages.
