Fairground Waltzer Sign

Traditional style Waltzer Fairground sign. Hand drawn and then digitally remastered artwork has been printed directly onto high quality 6mm MDF wood using eco inks.

The artwork is a juxtaposition of two eras. The font style is inspired a 100 year old British heritage fairground sign. The hand drawn font features the letters playfully interacting with each other which is synonymous with fairground art. The letters are stylised to look 3D with an elongated gold effect sides. Please note the ink is not metallic and is instead shaded to give an antique gold illusion. The letters feature a cream to dark red gradient and white border. The background banner is based on a much more modern 90s style fairground artwork. This style of artwork would have been spray painted. Normally a mix of hand painted vintage style fairground artwork and modern spray painted artwork wouldn't mix but digitally recreating them both has allowed the creation of a seamless hybrid.

This sign is one of our more larger signs so would work particularly well in commercial setting where you need to add pops of colour to large areas of wall space. Or if you are a fairground fan and are looking for a statement piece for your home.
